Business Unit company number change with dissimilar functional currencies

Hello,

We are currently on E1 9.2 and tools release 9.2.

We have a situation where we need to transfer some business units (jobs) from one company to another, the problem is the jobs are currently in a company whose functional currency is USD and they need to be transferred to a company whose functional currency is EUR.

I know JDE allows you to change the company number on a business unit and run a few UBE's to update the F0901, F0902 and F0911 with the new company number, but that assumes that the functional currency is the same.

Is there a way to transfer the BU's from one functional currency to another? Has anyone ever attempted this before? These are long term projects with 2 years of history already and another 2 years to go.
