11g Migration and Upgrade to 12c via Dataguard using 12c binaries?

Hello All,

I would like to know if it is possible to setup dataguard replication between an Exadata X-4 DB version 11.2.0.3 and Exadata X-5 DB version 12.1.0.x. both running Linux 6.x

1. Setup Dataguard between the two DB versions

2.  Once the DB is in sync open the DB in upgrade mode

3. Perform DB upgrade from 11.2 to 12.x

4. DB upgraded to 12.x on X5

Would appreciate it if anyone can point out a MOS note that covers this.
