Do we need to check the Synchronization box when we map the Asset numbers with the FA number?

I had tried with unchecking it and initiated the Capitalization. Is there any concurrent which will process the Initiation? I cant able to see any concurrent processing...I cant able to search in FA with source as EAM? Please guide me with this...I used the Asset Number and Fixed Asset number as 'Same'.
