How can an upper level manager (i.e. VP) view a report/dashboard for their team, not just their dire

I have set up several reports and made them available to managers through dashboards.  The managers can only currently see the data for their direct reports.  I would like to allow upper level management to have the ability to look at the data for their entire team (roll-up).  Is this possible and if so, how can I make that happen?
