Pay App SOV vs. Contract Line Items

I have entered my schedule of values into a contract as line items.

When I created the Payment Application #1 and then referenced the contract, entered the amount this period per line it then doubled the contract cost.

Now I cannot modify the SOV.

Did I do this wrong to begin with?
