Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Purpose of an item defaulting as fixed in sales order

I have a sales order with undership tolerance as 5 and item has defaulting as fixed.

Can i do undershipment in this case.

I need to know the purpose of fixed defaulting for item in Oracle apps.
