Purging from Installed Base tables

Hi,

We are migrating from 11.5.10 to 12.2.4, and want to clean old and unnecessary records before the migration.

We have in our IB more than 2 million serial numbers that are not in our business any more for few years now.

The historical records of those 2 million serial numbers is around 50 millions records.

All those records are totally Unnecessary.

Is there a way to purge all those records?  They probably should be deleted from mtl_serial_numbers as well, should't they?
