Enable 'Allow Dynamic Inserts' for Location Flexfield

Hi,

We have Fixed Assets module already live for many years with 'Allow Dynamic Inserts' = No for Location Flexfield (R12.1.3).

However, there is an initiative to setup thousands of locations. I understand that since 'Allow Dynamic Inserts' = No for Location Flexfield, this is a plan to go:

1. Add new values for each segment that we have assigned to Locations Flexfield (Setup > Financials > Key > Values)

2. Create new locations with newly added segments' values (Setup > Asset System > Locations).

and in case new segment value is created, new Location (step 2) has to be created as well.

As you see, here is a lot of work for the project but it will also require maintenance in case of changes in locations.
