Minify vanilla JS/CSS files in Siebel Open UI

Has anyone tried to minify the vanilla JS/CSS files which is provided by siebel in their production environment?

Per Oracle its out of their scope of support.

I dont understand what is stopping oracle to minify the vanilla JS/CSS files at least, which is critical to an OpenUI implementation while saying that its conforming to latest web standards.
