Can I link to results from two different plans?

Can I link results from two different plans together, even for just reporting? The business case is this:

I have 2 plans. 1 plan is for the mechanic that captures the measurements of the product. 1 plan is for the quality assurance tech that captures if the mechanic is using the prescribed tools, instructions, safety equipment, etc. The two plans are on different work orders, 1 work order for each resource (mechanic vs. qa tech). Is there a way to link the qa tech's results to the mechanics result?
