Advanced Pricing increase base price (R41840)

We need to do a price increase but need to expire the current base price and add a new record with new dates.

I ran the R41840 in PROOF mode but it does not appear to expire the original price, just add a new record with the new effective dates.

My base pricing is in Advanced Pricing by product/family groups typically with an expiration date of 1/1/2014 --> 12/31/2040.

I need this date to change to  1/1/2014 --> 4/1/2017 and add a new record with effective dates of 4/2/2017 --> 12/31/2040

Is there a batch version that does this as the R41840 does not.
