Customer Search Landing to Error -- too many matching results

While doing a customer search using Oracle Customer Data librarian Super user, searching using the Name field.

It is giving the below error :

Error : The Criteria of you entered provide too many matching results.Enter Additional Criteria or modify the match rules to get fewer.

I had raised one SR in which I was told to set the below profile value:

Profile option HZ: Maximum Number of Match Results value set to 1000.

But still we are getting the same issue.

What i understood from the doc id -- 734478.1 is :

If the estimated number of records to be returned is greater than the value set in the profile -- we get the error.
