How to Stop the ECO from being promoted to next status through SDK unless it is approved by an appro

Hi Team,

Need your help, I have below situation, where I have moved the ECO's workflow status from Pending to Review and added an approver in review status. The expected functionality is when user approve the change (after two three days)  in review status it will then automatically promote to Complete Status based on the Auto promote set to yes.

This is working perfectly OK from Agile Web Client.

The problem is through SDK I am not able to stop a ECO for the Approver's  approval and it is getting promoted to next status (complete).

Could you please help me , how shall I made an ECO to wait for the approval in Review Status and when it is approved by an bussiness user then it should promoted to complete.
