Job Costing - Opening balances

Hi,

We are setting up job cost module Project management Organisation and for data migration we need to upload the opening balances. 

Since it is a project based organisation, many projects have 2 or 3 years of costs. 

Even though, we plan to take the balance budget amount only as open budget amount.  We want to keep the accumulated or consolidated cost of previous years to be stored somewhere...

Do we have any other way for entering the Job opening balances.
