Delay in update in Install Base

Hello,

We created a miscellaneous receipt transaction to receive a serial in inventory.

This transaction was done at around 9 am. However, in install base, we saw the update occurring at approximately 11:45. The IB updates do happen instantaneously. Here there was a lag of 2.5 hours.

I received feedback from user that this does occur occasionally. I checked and found that neither SFM was down, nor resubmit IB transactions program was submitted during this period. What could be the reason for this lag?
