consolidated patch 10117518 and 22742061:R12.AD.C during upgrade from R12.0.6 to R12.2

dear All,

we have R12.0.6 appstier ,we have applied all patched for database ,i have run rapid install with upgrade option of this server

the upgrade finished without problem,

i have done the merge of the the 2patch according readme of patch 10117518 ,my question is do i have to apply the merged patch

from R12.0.6 file system (source environment file and lunch adpatch )

or i hava to lunch it from R12.2.0/fs1 file systsm after sourcing the environment file
