Defaulted buyer on requisition by decription

Any thoughts on where in setups would there be a defaulted buyer for requisitions created by description from the work order?  For certain individuals when a requisition is created by description for a direct item on a work order a buyer's name is getting defaulted in. We need to find where that setup might lie and change it. The folks that originally setup eAM no longer work here so that tribal knowledge left with them...
