Using Oracle Application Testing Suite with JDEdwards

We are in a JDEdwards upgrade project, from OneWorld Xe to EnterpriseOne 9.1.  We are approaching the point where we have completed most of the unit testing of the applications.  The client has purchased the Oracle Application Testing Suite, which we are planning to use for integrated (end to end) testing.  We had an OATS consultant show us the product over the last couple of days, but, from what we are seeing, the only part of OATS that we have identified as being useful in our project is the Load Testing module.        

Our unit tests have multiple steps, such as: review inventory for an item, check cost for an item, enter an inventory transaction, verify the correct cost is used, verify the transaction posts to the item ledger, verify the journal entry is created, etc.  The nature of our unit tests are that data from each step must be used to validate subsequent steps.  (For example, lookup the correct cost for the item branch record, ensure it is used in the transaction, and then track an error message it it is not.)  Also, application errors must be tracked (for instance, an invalid
