Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC)

RMAN-06025 goes to previous incarnation

Doing a regular recover test on our test server.

Previously we had successful recovery test

Today I am trying to do a recovery from Level 1.

We have  backup level 1 (Incremental) and level 0 (full backup).

Trying to recover form Level 1( Incremental).

When then why rman looks for Archive logs  backup beyond level 0 and goes up to my previous incarnation ?

Info : Database and Recovery Manager: Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production ( Standard Edition)

         Operating system : Windows

         Backup Type : Disc
