Price changes in Mass Maintenance (P45550) not going through price approval process

When making price changes / additions in the Mass Maintenance program (P45550), shouldn't these changes go through the price approval process?

In testing this program, the price approval process is on, but changes / additions in this program don't seem to be going through price approval.
