Writting to timestamp(6) column from siebel

Hello experts,

We have a EBC in siebel with CREATED_DT column mapped to the system column Created in siebel.In siebel the Physical type for this column is Date Time and the Datatype for this column in External table is TIMESTAMP(6). We are trying to create a new record from siebel on this table but we are getting '[2] ORA-01843: not a valid month' error on Created column. Does siebel support writting on TIMESTAMP(6) columns? Actually siebel shows the records inserted from outside of siebel(like toad) successfully.
