Hi All,

I have 3 instances on RHEL 7.1. One of the instances was brought down with the below errors as seen in the trace file. The database server is standalone with Oracle Restart.

ORA-04031: unable to allocate 40 bytes of shared memory

*** 2017-04-04 15:48:50.774

KGFCHECK kgfnStmtExecute01c: ret == OCI_SUCCESS: FAILED at kgfn.c:3413

NOTE: failed to open +DATA_REF_RA/RAREF/PARAMETERFILE/spfile.266.937141905

NOTE: failed to open +DATA_REF_RA/raref/spfileraref.ora

Kindly provide me information if you have encountered this error before.
