Assign Task to resource based on Service Contract

Hello,

We need to assign a task to resource based on the criteria mentioned below:

1. If contract exists for the product, then task can be assigned to resource any day of the week (7 days).

2. If no contract exists, then task should be assigned to resource only during the week (5 days; Mon- Fri).

I couldn't find any related info in service contracts/territory implementation guide. Is this possible out of the box?

Also, if we need to do customization, how can we achieve this with minimal interference to the standard functionality?
