Can isupplier user id be the same as ireceivable user id?

We have a iReceivable user who is also a supplier.  They are looking to use the same email address as the isupplier id that we already have activated for iReceivables.

Do I just add the isupplier responsibilities to the existing user?  How does it tie back to the supplier id?
