can I use xm commands without OVM Manager ?

I want to install "OVM Server 3.4.2" on an X5-2 server and then create 3 virtual machines with "xm commands" (xm create, xm console, etc) without the "OVM Manager", in this configuration, will I keep the Oracle support? Or will I lose support on virtual machines?
