could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment

I am running universal installer to install 11gR2 on HP--UX 64bit. After I launch the installer, I get the following error

Checking Temp space: must be greater than 240 MB.   Actual 2594 MB    Passed

Checking swap space: must be greater than 150 MB.   Actual 102344 MB    Passed

Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors

Preparing to launch Oracle Universal Installer from /tmp/OraInstall2017-04-11_02-34-46PM. Please wait ...mbps[150] /mbis/dbase01/11gSoftware2/database # Error: could not find libjava.so

Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.

Please assist. I downloaded the software 2 times already
