Oracle VM Manager supported scenarios

Hi,

I have the following doubt. If I decide to implement Oracle VM, is the Oracle VM Manager supported on a virtual machine outside the Oracle VM? For example, in VMware or Hyper-V? Or it has to be on a virtual machine running in Oracle VM, or in a physical machine?

If it’s supported, do I loose support of the applications that are running in the virtual machines, like databases or any other software provided by Oracle?
