Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Data Guard in an Oracle Database Appliance

I'm looking for a best practice for deploying data guard on a X5-2 ODA.

I did find that this document http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/database-appliance/documentation/deploying-odg-with-oda-1615029.pdf and it is preferred over using OEM.

Why is it preferred? Is there a way to setup DG using oakcli command?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
