About NPAR (NIC Partition) technology on OVM for x86

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

Hello, this is Minseog.

Recently I have known about NPAR (Nic PARtition) technology.

I am writing this post as I have some questions about that tech.

(I have already sent these questions to experts group in Oracle.)

1.

According to the materials that introduces NPAR, user can use QoS features provided by NPAR for Network, iSCSI, FC connections.

About FC connections, Can users (customers) use NPAR tech with HBA card ? Or, does that 'FC' means FCoE ?

2.

To use NPAR, what should users prepare ?

Is there any specific H/W device (i.e Qlogic CNA) that user should buy ?

3.

Recently Oracle provides 40Gb Ethernet Card with Oracle servers.
