Create Debit memo to an invoice

Is it possible to create a debit memo and then apply to an invoice to increase balance in Oracle Receivables. Say we had an invoice for $100. We created a debit memo for freight for %10 and want to apply to original invoice to increase balance to $110. Please let me know if its possible . We are curretly thinking of using an adjustment activity to increase balance of the invoice.
