12.1.2.9.0 - Recent trend seen

We have recently seen an increasing number of SRs due outages on 12.1.2.9.0 for some operations / under specific operations which  being researched as a possible OS problem bug.

This is a trend and we are actively working on identifying the problem source

but all things being equal, the update to 12.1.2.9.0 appears to be the introduced factor.

  • The problem does not appear to be isolated to ODA: 
  • The problem does not appear to be exclusive to just BM or just ODAVP.

A bug is filed and being worked at this time by the Linux team and followed closely by ODA Dev.

If you are seeing the same symptom please create an SR  as well as evaluate plans to upgrade to 12.1.2.10 asap which is available and is not reporting equivalent issues.
