Removing Advanced Warehousing during Upgrade

We are going through an upgrade to 9.2 and will be removing Advanced Warehousing from one of our branches at that time.  We are wondering what the considerations should be for Purchase Orders and Sales Orders in progress at upgrade time?

Any suggestions for reading material?
