Favorites and Open Reports/Application panel is not Displayed E19.1/Chrome 57.0.2987.133

A recent update to Chrome 57.0.2987.133 was applied to our 9.1 platform and users can no longer access their favorites, open applications and recently executed reports panel.  The options are available by selecting the * or laptop icon from the toolbar; however not the menu panel.  We had the users clear their cache and browsing history while restarting the desktops.  Once logged back on the panel was displayed and available.  However, once the user logged off or timed out of their E1 application the favorites panel was no longer available.  This is extremely bazaar and we would appreciate any direction
