First of all,

I did go through similar question and suggestion from Roy-Oracle on Jun 19, 2015 9:06 AM   [ "TNS-12502 in Listener Log " ]

I see this on plain vanilla Oracle 11g instance, no rac, no load balance etc.

I see ton of these messages - even though informational - it poses an issues on disk space management.

<msg time='2017-04-18T10:48:46.953-04:00' org_id='oracle' comp_id='tnslsnr'

type='UNKNOWN' level='16' host_id='host.domain.com'

host_addr='xxx.yyy.1.72'>

<txt>18-APR-2017 10:48:46 * 12502

</txt>

</msg>

<msg time='2017-04-18T10:48:46.953-04:00' org_id='oracle' comp_id='tnslsnr'

type='UNKNOWN' level='16' host_id='host.domain.com'

Howdy, Stranger!
