OTM:Trigger an agent without event

Hi,

Can someone please advise if we can trigger and agent without any event being called.

My issue is Once Actual Shipment is Received from EBS to OTM , Load Distance is getting updated to Zero. As per Oracle support advise, we created an agent which calls Action 'Assign Distance'.

This approach will work for all future shipments.

We would like to apply this fix for all impacted shipments. So just want to know if there is any process to correct them.
