Receipt number changes after QC release

We have setup routing so that after store does receiving, the order goes into routing routing for quality checks. After quality checks, they will release the goods to store. We noticed the receipt number from store's receiving, was changed after quality release the goods. Referring to F43121, I suspect the receipt number was replaced with a new receipt number for quality release. How can i check the store's receipt vs the quality's release receipt number?
