EBS Analyzer fails to run on windows

downloaded latest analyzer for testing purposes for crp1 and crp2 in ebs.

confirmed requirements we are on 12.1.3 with 11.2.0.4 db

tested on windows 2012 and 2003.

When running the following error occurs

   INFO: The "APPS" Database account/password is required and used by this

    script for the following purposes:

   o To query FND tables related to Concurrent Programs

   o To run the API FNDLOAD, which loads Concurrent Program

     data in a safe and supported manner

   o To Load Analyzer-related Database Objects

   Account information is not stored, logged or displayed in any way.

  Enter your 'apps' username: apps

  Enter apps's password:

  INFO: Testing SQL Connectivity..
