Unable to find a customer using "Account number" field the search,but with register_id and customer

I have two customers that I am not able to find using the Account number field .

but with name i am able find the customer.except these two customers ,for others i am able to find by name ,account,register_id.

could anyone please explain me the possible cases that we got this error.
