Hi! Is it possible to use project enabled locators in inventory without using Oracle Asset Tracking?

We are dealing with expenditures which come from PO Receipts delivery for which had been done to locator with Project/task segments (Inventory destination type in PO). These PO Receipt expenditures come to Projects without matching to invoice as Inventory sourced. 

Before we used only expense destination (without locator with project/task segments) and they were transferred to projects after matching with invoice (as supplier costs) and such expenditures work fine -i.e. generate lines without problems.

Expenditures which do not generate asset lines are capitalizable, GL Accounted, task has assigned asset which in it's turn has all required information entered including DPIS.
