How to Update the Rentable space where that location is in lease?

Hi Team,

               I have a requirement with the client that they need to update the Rentable space andcommon area for the locations under property which were assigned to customers.. Is it possible to update the common area and Rentable space of a location which has been assigned to the lease? Is there any workaround? Please guide me this..
