Hi

We encountered these 2 errors and customer is facing IO error when trying to access some files.

Apr 23 08:25:14 hq ufs: [ID 941273 kern.notice] NOTICE: /ucm_shares: bad dir ino 230594 at offset 8704: mangled entry

Apr 24 07:30:30 hq ufs: [ID 879645 kern.notice] NOTICE: /ucm_shares: unexpected free inode 196036, run fsck(1M) -o f

I feel that the system was hit by a bug which was explained in this document.

Solaris 10 and Solaris 11 Systems may Experience UFS File System Data Integrity Issues Which may Fail to be Reported (Doc ID 2109480.1)

It seems like the OS has never been patched before. The packaging date is earlier than the release date of the oldest SRU for 11.2

Howdy, Stranger!
