vb.net username token authentication help

I have a vb.net (VS 2008) windows form application that I've inherited and been using for several years integrated with P6 Webservices under 8.4.3 using cookie authentication.  This is all working fine.

We are upgrading to P6 16.2 and want to check into switching from Cookies to Username Token authentication using the authenticationservice.

I am seeking help with the vb code to set that up please.
