How to get client IP address using DISA?

Hi,

We were informed that, using DISA we can also capture Siebel client machine's IP address, when a user login from particular machine. In our inquiry in Oracle support we have found below article, but has very limited content and also has a reference to bug.

The bug also seems to be closed now.

Could any one please support in providing any lead, on how to capture the client IP address? Considering DISA is already installed and running, can we use any OOTB business service to get IP address.
