Has anybody utilized Google API to determine Daylight Savings Offset?

in Field Service - EBS (MOSC) Question

Daylight Savings offset is an important component of Time Zone and changes with postal codes. For field service resources, it is critical to determine the offset as they may be travelling between time-zones to ensure that SLAs are met. Please advise if any users have implemented field service solution utilizing Daylight Savings offset provided by 3rd party tools such as Google Maps APIs.
