Getting around Excel xls output number of rows limitation?
Hello,
When designing Excel Templates in BI Publisher 11g (or for that matter even 12c), the output file generated is an xls file which has a row number limitation of about 65K rows.
In cases where the report is generating more than 65K rows, the output file generated is corrupt and cannot be opened by Excel 2013.
Is there a way to split the data so that after the 65K rows, rest of the rows are in a new tab in the same file? I was really hoping that Bug 24545689 : BI PUBLISHER EXCEL .XLSX TEMPLATE was addressed in 12c but unfortunately, it has not and there is no indication that product dev is even considering it.
