Hyperion Planning Run Time Prompts and Composite Forms

When testing a composite form that runs a business rule on save, I found that the run time prompts were not being populated with members from the form as might be expected.

Have since seen that the Planning 11.1.2.4 Administrator's guide, section "Understanding Runtime Prompts" says that the 'Use Members of Form' setting is ignored for rules associated with composite forms.

Has anyone managed to successfully pass member values to a business rule from the POV/Page dimensions of a composite form?

Full text from the guide..........

2.When launched from a form, the values of members in the Page/Point of View take precedence over the last saved value if the Use Members on Form option is selected, regardless of whether the runtime prompt is hidden during design. The business rule is run without displaying the hidden runtime prompt to users, and the runtime prompt values are taken from the Page/Point of View members.
