Web service capabilities in Oracle Apex

Hi Experts i am very new to this application, In fact just working on some of the requirement from client so stumbled upon Apex for one portion of it, below is my problem statement.

We have requirement where in below are the details:-

1. Bank has an application where in they input some customer related information.

2. We need to create web service to take the request from the 3rd party application, find out all the customer information and then push it into oracle database on which oracle apex is installed.

3. On the same Database our Analytical application(OFSAA) will be installed from which we will be doing some R modelling plus some Policy rules and finally dumping the output in a table.
