Amortize Adjustment

Hello

We are changing a prorate convention from daily to monthly. We are not sure if we should tick at 'Amortize Adjustment'.

Could you please advise if we have it as checked system will calculate and ‘add back’ depreciation for the assets that are not yet retired for the first month of their date in service which had been previously charged?
