Pay Types Requiring Subsidiary and/or Subledger
This is related to the ESS Time Entry application...
Is there a way to configure Pay Types to require subsidiaries and/or subledgers and do to the appropriate validation during both time entry and manager review/approval? We have cases where an employee may be required to record subsidiaries and/or subledgers (Work Orders) for when entering their timecard in ESS Time Entry (Summary or Detail)? Also, if pay type can be configured to require subsids a/o subledgers, does this imply the T/E applications will validate and show errors if the entry requirements are not met? Our specific example is Holiday Pay. We generate Holiday Pay timecards via Timecard Generation batch update
