Remove 'Description Direct' option from drop down list

Business wants to enforce users to use iProcurement to  create description direct purchases. They want to avoid  usage of  'easy requisition' for description direct items in eAMs by removing the option of 'description direct' from the drop-down.

Attempted to personalize out without  success.

Request to know if it could be done by personalization or extension?

Screenshot of the requirement is attached.

(Business reason for using iProcurement: The requisition account generator is customized  for accrual account and  requisition through iProcurement picks up the customized logic but not the one from easy requisition in eAMs (Bug:2245333))
